nAn exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Salisbury has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an M&E Shift Engineer based in a high-profile building in Salisbury. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance within a team of roughly 50 across this static site.n
nThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £44,000, overtime, further training and a route into further career progression.n

• Continental Shift Pattern – Days & Nights

• Day Shift – 6 am to 6 pm

• Night Shift – 6 pm to 6 am

Key Duties & Responsibilitiesn
n

n
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)

n

• Emergency lighting tests

n

• Control Panels

n

• Changing Ballast

n

• BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)

n

• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance

n

• Maintain and update Log books

n

• Plumbing – Unblocking toilets

n

• Pumps, motors

n

• Compliance and logbooks

n

• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.

n

• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.

n

• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

n

• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.

n

• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.

n

• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.

n

• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

n

• Escort specialist subcontractors

n

Requirementsn
n

n
• Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds or Equivalent Level 3

n

• 18th Edition (If Electrical bias)

n

• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

n

• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

n

• Multi-skilled

n

• Good communication skills

n

• Client Facing

n
