For our Brussels office, we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join one of our trusted clients in the banking sector .
About the Role:
You will play a central role in supporting card product strategy, performance monitoring, and transformation initiatives within a cards environment.
Positioned at the intersection of business and IT , this role requires a hands-on professional capable of structuring, challenging, and driving impactful improvements.
Your Mission:
You will contribute to the success of card products and services by ensuring strong alignment between business needs and implementation.
Your responsibilities include:
Monitoring market trends, competition, and customer needs
Tracking product performance ( revenues, market share, NPS, etc. )
Identifying issues and proposing product and service improvements
Evaluating and challenging change requests
Collaborating with squads to define and assess solutions
Translating business needs into clear requirements & acceptance criteria
Acting as a key interface between Business & IT stakeholders
Defining business scope, target operating model, and interfaces
Supporting implementation and overseeing Business Acceptance Testing (BAT)
Qualifications:
We are looking for:
Senior Business Analyst (6+ years of experience)
Strong expertise in cards products, processes, and services
Solid understanding of the Belgian payments ecosystem
Proven ability to translate business needs into IT requirements
Experience with cards-related systems and architecture
Hands-on, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Required Skills:
Experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of payment solutions such as Wero, Apple Pay
Languages:
English: Mandatory
French or Dutch: Mandatory (at least one required)
Work Setup:
Hybrid model: 50% on-site / 50% remote
