Class 1 HIAB driver, uktestzip

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our Brick and Block Haulage department. Drivers will be expected to travel around the country to deliver customer goods in a safe an professional manner. The position is available from our Bideford, Exeter, Wrangaton and Caldicot depots. This is for a Artic or Lorry and Drag type vehicle and includes nights out.n

• Deliver customers good in a professional and friendly manner

n

• Ensure the most direct truck friendly route is taken

n

• Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out adequate daily checks.

n

• Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws

n

• Ensure all PODs are captured accurately

n

• Able to work on own initiative and part of a team

n

• Report any issues effectively and promptly to management

n

• Be able to work to a productive nature.

n

Qualifications and Skills For drivern
n

n
• Full driving licence In date driver CPC and digital tachograph

n

• Sound geographical knowledge of UK and be able to use a road atlas.

n

• Posses good literacy and numeracy skills.

n

• Have a reason able level of fitness Presentable, good attitude and polite.

n

• HIAB Lorry loader experience required

n

• Netting experience of benefit but not essential

n
