The postholder will work within the Department of Clinical Biochemistry as part of a team in our busy specimen reception area performing a range of tasks including opening mail, bar coding request forms and samples, assisting in the preparation of samples for analysis, and other pre and post analytical tasks.

Requirement to participate in rota to provide Saturday morning support between the hours of 09:00 to 13:00, and one evening per week.

The successful applicant should be able to work under pressure and have good communication skills and possess a scientific or administrative qualification to SVQ level 3.

If this post operates within Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone, you will be responsible for all costs associated with entering.
