Salary: Grade F. Scale 17 – £16.01 per hour

Base Location: TMBC Children’s Home Denton
The Role
You will provide 24‑hour care within a 3‑bed children’s home for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
Hours of work include evening shifts, day shifts, weekend working and bank holidays as part of a flexible working rota. You may be required to sleep in duties and, on occasion, perform waking night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, supportive care to all residents.
Observe and report on residents’ behaviour and progress to the care team.
Assist with daily living activities and medication administration as directed.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is an advantage.
Applicants without this qualification are acceptable, but the NVQ must be completed within 2 years of starting the role.
Demonstrated passion for working with young people and supporting them to reach their potential.
