Are you an AI Project Manager with extensive experience in delivering advanced AI and data-driven solutions? We are looking for an AI Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity in Belgium Daily rate between €500/€600.
Requirements:
4+ years of relevant Project Management experience, with a strong focus on AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives
Proven experience managing AI/ML, Generative AI, or data-driven projects in complex enterprise environments
Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, model development, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring (MLOps)
Hands-on familiarity with AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and large language models (LLMs)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI services (e.g. Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI)
Knowledge of data platforms and tools (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark) Understanding of DevOps/MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with programming and data tools (Python, R, SQL) and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Experience in Agile/Scrum or other project delivery methodologies (Prince2/PMI is a plus)
Experience in stakeholder management, contract negotiation, Service Level Agreements, and budget planning
Experience managing cross-functional teams including data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders
Awareness of AI governance, ethics, data privacy, and regulatory considerations (e.g. GDPR)

Job Description:
You will lead the delivery of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI projects, ensuring alignment between business objectives, data strategy, and technical execution.
You will establish a structured AI project delivery framework, incorporating governance, MLOps practices, and scalable deployment models.
You will act as a leader, building relationships at strategic (C-level), operational, and tactical levels across the organisation.
You will drive the end-to-end AI lifecycle, from use case identification and data exploration to model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams (data scientists, engineers, architects) to deliver robust, scalable AI solutions.
You will ensure integration of AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures.
You will manage risks related to AI delivery, including data quality, model performance, bias, explainability, and compliance.
You will oversee quality assurance and ensure adherence to best practices in AI engineering, DevOps, and data governance.
You will stay up to date with emerging AI trends such as Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and automation, and translate them into business value.
You will manage project scope, timelines, budget, and vendor relationships to ensure successful delivery.
